Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership in the design, development, implementation, and support of multi-layered enterprise applications.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tech stacks, proven record of supporting other IT teams in an organization, highly collaborative. Actively engage in software development lifecycle activities.
  • Serve as a technical leader and mentor to other engineers.
  • Be a subject matter expert in software engineering best practices, including front-end UI & UX, APIs & microservices, schema development, and SecDevOps.
  • Explore emerging technologies and anticipate industry disruptions.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions through documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and code comments.
  • Conform to coding standards.
  • Focus on improving the software engineering experience at ALSAC by building reusable frameworks and components, managing integration platforms, and delivering API design best practices.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and onboard engineers to new technologies.
  • Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) for new technologies.
  •  Top 3 Skills for this role: .Net Core, React/Typescript/NodeJS Experience, Mulesoft or API gateway experience.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of current application development techniques, such as object-oriented and client/server.
  • Professional experience writing software across multiple layers of the application stack (front-end, back-end, data, and database technology).
  • Experience in a team-oriented cross-functional work environment with formal structures, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of technical, analytical, systems, and programming experience.
