Job description

Join our Business Technology team as a Business Systems Analyst and play a pivotal role in scaling our internal tooling and systems to enhance business efficiency. As a hands-on technical contributor, you will help our team drive continuous improvements and design innovative systems, tools, and automation solutions for the evolving needs of our growing organization at HubSpot. 

 

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Work on a team to assess existing business processes to find areas for enhancement and efficiency gains
  • Design and implement scalable technology solutions in collaboration with our BizTech leads and key stakeholder to help HubSpot grow efficiently from 7,000 to 20,000 employees
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and develop detailed system specifications
  • Influence data flow best practices within our technology stack to optimize performance
  • Create integrations and automations leveraging iPaaS tools like Workato
  • Work closely with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and Data Analysts to develop impactful reporting and scorecards
  • Drive business value and user adoption through thorough testing, robust deployment strategies, comprehensive documentation, and user training initiatives

 

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience as a technologist first and foremost: you love making software do what you want it to do; you’re eager to try new things; you’ve been an early adopter of new waves of technology
  • Exposure to a technical discipline relevant to a BizTech org: Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and balance competing priorities
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Experience or familiarity with technical concepts like SQL or building APIs 
  • Knowledge of tools like Workato, Zapier, Boomi (i-PaaS) Integration Platform As A Service is a plus, but not required! 

 

Requirement: 

  • Ability to work M-F, full-time, 40 hours a week from January-May 2025 
  • Currently enrolled in an educational program through May 2025 

 


Cash compensation range: 25 USD Hourly

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
