Vyond Developer (part-time)

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and skilled professional to join our freelance team as a part-time Vyond Developer. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in animation and storytelling to create dynamic, engaging videos that help to effectively communicate training concepts, ideas and information.

Project Details

Contract type: Freelance (1099 or C2C if you have your own corp)
Duration: 3 months, potentially extendable (we work heavily with this client and they often extend well beyond the initial 3 month term)
Hours per week: 15 hours per week anticipated
Start Date: ASAP!
Onsite / Offsite: Fully remote (USA applicants only)
Hourly Rate: $40-$60/hr, depending on expertise

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with other teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
Design and develop animated videos using Vyond that align with company branding and messaging strategies.
Transform complex ideas and concepts into clear, captivating, and entertaining visual narratives.
Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in animation and video content creation.
Incorporate feedback and make revisions in a timely manner to meet stakeholder expectations.
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy, creativity, and quality of videos before release.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Animation, Multimedia, Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience in creating animated videos using Vyond.
Strong storytelling and creative skills with an eye for design and visual composition.
Familiarity with other video editing tools and software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, etc.).
Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey visual concepts and ideas.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in educational video production or corporate training videos.
Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and social media video trends.
Portfolio of previous work showcasing animation and video production capabilities.
Experience with other animation tools like Adobe Animate, Blender, etc., is a plus.
