Job description

 

Eaton’s ES AMER MCO division is currently seeking a Business Process Excellence Manager. This is a remote role that can sit anywhere within the United States. 

 

 

What you’ll do:

The  Business Process Excellence Manager is essential for implementing standardized processes and procedures that drive business process optimization efforts. In this role, you'll oversee a team of Business Process Owners who are accountable to the health and success of business operations in their domain / platform. You'll champion a data driven approach to support the continuous improvement practices of your team, and be a voice championing the return on investment tied to the activities within the MDM function. 

In this function you will: 

  • Lead a team of MDM process owners with a goal of delivering business process excellence
  • Collaborate with MDM process owners to:
    •     Classify and document the current processes in use
    •     Identify the opportunities for improvement in the current processes and leverage best practices across teams
    •     Align and standardize similar processes across different teams
  • Constantly look for automation solutions and tools to minimize the manual and repetitive workload in the execution of process and increase their efficiency
  • Define standard work guidelines and ensure the process documentation will be made available and maintained by the process owners
  • Develop a common reporting framework across the MDM teams to measure process KPIs, in collaboration with Eaton Analytics teams
  • Support the implementation of a continuous improvement framework. Promote the adoption of lean tools and Scrum methodology of work across the organization. Coach teams about CI initiatives and facilitate them during VSMs, Gemba Walks, Kaizen events, etc.
  • Monitor the productivity of the MDM function (return on investment) and work close with the process owners for its optimization
  • Develop and maintain an Enterprise customer MDM budget planning and tracking process, aligned with all the relevant Finance & IT units
Qualifications:

:Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 7 years of proven experience in operational transformation
  • Minimum 2 years People leadership experience
  • Sponsorship is not provided. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US now or in the future without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with BPMN2.0 and Agile operations
  • Experience with agile operating models
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Track record of implementing new processes impacting multiple teams 
  • Track record of holding team members accountable to achieving outcomes
