Description

Position Summary

As our RNI Commercial Development Manager, you will help support the expansion and success of our consignment inventory management program, known as RightNow Inventory.  You will engage extensively with FFF Enterprises customers and manufacturer partners, internal customer facing commercial teams, and marketing services to drive RNI technology solutions adoption. In addition, you will contribute to the design and success of RNI initiatives through VOC feedback, marketing and sales collateral design, and new product development.

 

Essential Functions and Duties

RightNow Inventory

  • Contribute as a subject matter expert in the presentation of the RNI program value in collaboration with FFF commercial teams to customers and manufacturers.
  • Provide expertise in RNI solutions and inventory management technology to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Successfully lead cross-functional project teams through a staged onboarding process for large, multi-site RNI installations.
  • Contribute to contract negotiations and business terms clarification for new RNI customers.
  • Generate new leads for the RNI program and identify prospects to achieve sales revenue targets.
  • Track sales activities and pipeline status in company CRM and keep current by updating account information.  Provide regular customer and prospect reports.
  • Contribute to BU revenue and cabinet installation forecasting.
  • Conduct virtual demonstrations of RNI inventory device technology.

 

RNI Program Development

  • Collaborate closely with corporate Marketing in the creation and improvement of related sales artifacts and tools including customer presentations, product demonstrations, trade show presentations, overview sheets, product videos, etc.
  • Work closely with RNI Operations and FFF commercial team to identify and develop strategies to grow underperforming RNI accounts.  
  • Identify and communicate product improvement enhancements to Product Management that address customer paint points or new opportunities related to product or technology.
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitors initiatives. 
  • Contribute to New Product Development efforts in coordination with RNI Product Manager to develop features, competitive insights, market trends, and go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Required Education:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree.  Focus on Business or Marketing with a technology or supply chain focus is preferred.

Required Knowledge:

  • General knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures related to pharmaceutical or medical device distribution and HCP inventory management practices.

Preferred Knowledge:

  • Hospital central pharmacy operations and best practices.
  • Sales or user experience with automated medication dispensing systems used in healthcare settings, such as hospitals and pharmacies.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years sales or marketing experience within healthcare industry with a focus on supply chain management, pharmaceutical, medical device, or medical technical sales.  Verifiable examples of the following:
    • Experience and ability growing healthcare technology-based business.
    • Experience evangelizing new technology concepts and influencing C-Level decision makers to purchase and adoption.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with Hospital pharmacy inventory management systems and a strong understanding of best practices.
  • Experience in managing complex, large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with the integration of new technologies within healthcare settings.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work independently, highly motivated, organized, goal oriented and driven to achieve success.
  • Advanced negotiation and persuasion skills to effectively handle contract negotiations, along with the ability to persuade and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Expertise in managing complex customer relationships, including the ability to resolve conflicts, manage expectations, and build long-term partnerships.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to formulate concepts and communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. 
  • Strong ability to analyze market data and performance metrics to identify trends and make informed business decisions.
  • Capable of capturing detailed customer requirements and communicating with support teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency with MS Excel and/or MS Access and the ability to work with large data sets to extract reports and insights.
  • Proficiency with MS PowerPoint and presentation development.

Physical requirements

Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for prolonged periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled.  The employee occasionally lifts to 20 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Must have the ability to travel occasionally. Working condition include normal office setting.
