What We Are Looking For:
This is an amazing opportunity to make an immediate impact and work closely with the leaders of Beam. The Office Administrator and Executive Business Partner will serve as the face of the office, a right hand to leaders, and the backbone of Beam’s culture. We seek a proactive, adaptable master generalist who enjoys rolling up their sleeves—no task is too minor or too small.

This role requires an in-office presence at our Columbus, Ohio headquarters for at least two days a week, along with responsibility for a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks. As an honorary member of the People Operations Team, you must work independently with minimal supervision while always keeping the business and its most important resource—its people—in mind. The ideal candidate will be approachable, a self-starter, and eager to bring calm to chaos while making a meaningful difference.

A successful candidate will provide leverage to increase work efficiency and organizational effectiveness. You will achieve success through excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Success means getting results, maintaining a positive attitude with a low ego, and having fun winning as a team!

What You Will Do:
  • Office administration, including upkeep, restocking, and vendor management
  • Handle requests from the Senior Leadership Team
  • Manage strategic scheduling
  • Create documents, processes, communications, and Google Slides presentations
  • Plan and organize eventsBuild relationships and be a resource for everyone at Beam
  • Perform administrative tasks such as expense reports, travel arrangements, and note-taking
  • Handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Serve as a liaison with other departments or external parties
  • Be a true partner to the business and assist with exciting organizational initiatives
  • Steward your own growth and continue to develop professionally
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned

  • What Skills Will Help You Be Successful:
  • Availability to work in our Columbus, OH office at least two days per week
  • Positive, proactive, can-do attitude with a team-first mindset
  • Proficiency in or willingness to learn G Suite, Slack, Lever, and other tech stacks
  • Proven ability to see projects and tasks through to successful completion
  • Reliability and accountability
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Enjoyment in providing others with leverage and helping them succeed
  • Strong attention to detail and a low-ego approach
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
