TBA is a highly renowned organisation that is part of a multi-national group of companies and promotes a creative and dynamic work environment is looking to recruit an Automated QA Analyst for our Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) team on a permanent basis in Leicester.

 

This organisation produces market leading, large-scale, distribution and supply chain software products used by customers worldwide and is aiming for further substantial growth over the next 5 years.

The test team (QA) of which you will be part of, gives the opportunity to grow and gain experience in software testing processes and to get a closer look at the entire product lifecycle. You will participate in several projects and be in regular contact with other participants in the projects (designers, developers, project managers and end users).

 

Skills & Experience:
To be successful in this role we are looking for people who possess the following attributes:

 

  • Software development background.
  • Automated testing experience.
  • Technical mind-set.
  • C# and SQL coding experience is essential.
  • Knowledge in Micro-services (Docker) and Linux knowledge is a plus.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Critical, assertive, and independent attitude.
  • Work within an international team and be willing to travel.
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and verbally.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Agile development practises, would be a plus in knowledge regarding the Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
  • The ability to challenge the norm to ensure best practice and outcomes.
  • University degree in Computer Science, or any relevant industry experience or certifications.

 Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Defining a regression test plan.
  • Defining and executing regression tests.
  • Involved in definition and setting up of automated flow tests over the application. 
  • Involved in (or drives) the process of improving test set up using emulation with various TBA departments.
  • Daily monitoring of automated tests and follow up.
  • Extend automated tests based on new functionality or issues for specific product scope.
  • Involved in setting up reporting framework for testing of software.

 In addition to the above you may be required to work across different teams such as the integration and or solution team. Some implementations at customer premises may be involved as part of pre agreed projects.
