Summary of Job Duties:
Under direction of the Research Compliance Officer, this position develops, plans, schedules, and tracks research education activities campus wide. The position coordinates the Certified Research Specialist (CRS) program, tracking attendance of all participants, and performs all administrative support functions for the Office of Research Compliance, to include ordering of supplies and processing invoices for payment. Maintains the ORC website.

Developing, planning, scheduling, and tracking of research education activities campus-wide, which includes the scheduling of subject-area experts to conduct live training and the identification and scheduling of webinars. Includes revising of educational activities as necessary to adapt to evolving regulatory, Institutional Review Board, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, and UAMS requirements.
Coordinates the Certified Research Specialist (CRS) Program.
Tracking attendance of participants, testing, and certification of those individuals who fulfill the CRS criteria. Responding to questions and concerns of program participants.
Perform administrative duties for the Office of Research Compliance and maintain ORC website
Ordering supplies and processing travel. Monitoring inventory of supplies and equipment.
Maintain the ORC website, including the posting of news items related to research and ensuring that links, staff listing, and other items on the website are current.
Division Support/Other duties as assigned.
Participate in special projects as directed by the Research Compliance Officer or Institutional Compliance related to research compliance issues. Other duties as assigned.
