What you will be doing:

  • The DI&A  team is seeking for an experienced Data Architect and Solutions Specialist to join the dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing scalable and efficient data architectures/Data Products that meet the evolving needs of our organization. You will be responsible for maintaining the data pipeline quality, integrity, and play a critical role in building the data products that are used by CSG planning & strategy teams.In this role, you will be responsible to build reusable core data products that can be leveraged by the FP&A, Supply chain & Employee Experience,etc  teams . You will also be responsible for the data enablement for all the downstream systems.

  • This role requires a deep technical & domain expertise in understanding of data management, analytics, and cloud technologies, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Developing and implementing data architecture/Data Products strategies that align with business objectives and technical requirements. Design robust, scalable, and high-performance data solutions.

    • Creating and maintaining logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects. Ensure data models are optimized for performance and scalability.

    • Overseeing the integration of data from various sources into a unified system. Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop data-driven solutions. Provide technical guidance and support for data-related projects.

    • Leveraging cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to build and deploy data architectures. Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance in cloud environments.

    • Establishing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data assets.

    • Monitoring and optimizing the performance of data systems and solutions. Implement best practices for data storage, retrieval, and processing.

    • Working closely with business leaders, analysts, and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and solutions. Identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

  • What we’re looking for...
  • You’ll need to have:

    • Bachelor's degree or six or more years of experience.

    • Six or more years of relevant work experience 

    • Six years of Data Engineering experience

    • Expertise in Finance/Supply chain/HR data domains

    • Experience in articulating the business drivers and architectural approach/trade-offs during discussions for solutions.

    • Experience with Technology product management and tool evaluation/ rationalization strategy

    • Experience cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) 

    • Ability to lead complex projects by bringing together the right perspectives, identifying roadblocks, and integrating feedback from clients and team members.

  • Even better if you have one or more of the following:
    • Master's degree in Data Science Business, engineering or computer science

    • Ability to create system and process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, sequence, and UML diagrams, and inter and intra-system dependencies within the functional domain and across them.

    • Experience with emerging technologies and tools; Generative AI, Chat Bots, AI and ML, ETL tools, Data Lakes, Large language models, RAG architecture, Business intelligence, API Integrations,Linux scripting

    • Strong demonstrable management experience with leading software developers/architects, systems, or process analysts.

    • Ability to perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions.

    • Experience building and driving adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns.

    • Ability with leading and participating in performance tests to identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands for product launches.

    • Talent development & management to ensure resources keep continuing to increase their skills.

    • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and adapt to changes.

    • Excellent communication  and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple manner.
