POSITION SUMMARY 

The Social Analyst plays a pivotal role in understanding social content, channel and community engagement performance across Intel’s priority social handles, ensuring pivotal recommendations and proper optimizations can be made. 

 

This role is responsible for regular analysis and reporting needs across these handles and associated channels, leveraging data analytics tools and techniques to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and measure the impact of social channel, content, and community engagement efforts. This role will help inform the development of targeted strategies and tactics to enhance the effectiveness and success of Intel's social media presence.  

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS 

Analyst Experience:  

  • Minimum of 4-5 years experience in data analysis, preferably in a marketing or digital analytics role. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field preferred. 

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences. 

Technology Experience: 

  • Required 2-3 years of experience in technology, preferably in roles related to social or digital marketing, and/or data analysis. Experience working closely with community and social management counterparts preferred. 

  • Experience with organic and paid social analytics across LinkedIn, X, Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, and their associated ads managers. 

  • Proficiency with social analytic tools (Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.) preferred. 

  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization (Google Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) tools. 

JOB DUTIES

Data Collection and Processing 

  • Collect and aggregate organic and paid social data from various sources, including social platforms, social analytics tools, web analytics tools, internal and client-provided databases, or other sources. 

  • Perform data validation and quality assurance to maintain data integrity. 

 

Data Analysis, Visualization, and Reporting: 

  • Analyze large datasets and generate comprehensive monthly reports using brand-provided and agency-crafted (specific to client), or industry benchmark metrics, inclusive of actionable recommendations based on insights to optimize community strategies. 

  • Create and update performance dashboards and visualizations for tracking social channel, content, and community engagement metrics 

  • Collaborate closely with Social Director, community managers, strategists, coordinators, and other cross-functional teams to align data analytics efforts with broader social media and community engagement objectives and strategies. 

  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities and industry benchmarks related to social media activity/performance, community engagement, content strategies, and audience demographics. 

  • Work with Strategists and other team members to help forecast social content performance, future trends, community behavior and growth trajectories. 

  • Work with strategist and other team members to develop robust monitoring mechanisms to track social performance and community engagement levels across Intel’s social and digital landscape. 

 

Ad Hoc Analysis and Presentations: 

  • Work with team to compile comprehensive post-launch event and campaign recap decks summarizing social channel, content, and community performance. 

  • Conduct detailed event recap analytics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of social strategies and executional tactics.

Office environment 

The salary range for this position is $70k minimum - $90k maximum per annum. Compensation varies depending on location, job-related factors such as experience, responsibilities, and business needs.
