Spotter is seeking an experienced and strategic Truck Purchasing Manager to join our team. In this remote position, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of trucks and related equipment, ensuring that our purchasing strategies align with the company's operational goals and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies for acquiring trucks and related equipment. Analyze market trends to identify cost-effective solutions that meet the company’s needs.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with truck manufacturers, dealers, and suppliers. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure favorable terms and ensure reliable supply chains.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about new truck models, technologies, and pricing trends. Evaluate the competitive landscape to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor inventory levels of trucks and related equipment to ensure that procurement aligns with operational demands. Develop and maintain an efficient inventory management system.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze total cost of ownership, including maintenance, fuel efficiency, and resale value, to make informed purchasing decisions. Prepare financial reports and forecasts related to truck procurement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, finance, and logistics, to ensure that purchasing decisions support overall business objectives.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies throughout the purchasing process. Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier agreements.

Qualifications:
