Senior Project Manager

KAI Partners is looking for a client-focused Senior Project Manager with a minimum of 8 years of Project Management experience. This includes the business processes, systems, reporting, and analytical needs of the organization enabling operational efficiency. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter and problem-solver who thrives on being engaged at all levels of the project.

This is a hybrid remote/organized remote position; the selected candidate must reside in the Sacramento area and be available to be onsite at the client's location in Sacramento several times each month.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support clients in enhancing health programs, including pharmacy programs.
  • Identify where process and system problems exist and develop and implement plans to remedy the problems.
  • Provide regular reports to client leadership on program status, risks, and issues. 
  • Identify needs that clients may not recognize, and ensuing approaches and solutions linked to objectives and future needs. 
  • Continuously manage client expectations to ensure delivery of the highest quality service, while soliciting and acting on client feedback. 
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned.  

 Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, patience and dedication when working with clients, vendors, and internal teams.  
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy programs and benefit configurations is desirable.
  • Ability to identify process and system problems.
  • Strong analytical, critical, and creative problem-solving skills. 
  • Pro-active self-starter who is comfortable working with cross-functional teams  
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook). 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines simultaneously, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. 
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. 

Work/Education Experience:   

  • 7+ years of project or program management experience applying principles, methods, techniques, and tools. (Preferably in a healthcare and/or pharmacy environment) 
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP)Certification, Project Management Institute (PMI) (preferred).

Compensation Range: $130,000 – $154,000

The salary range for this role may vary depending on the specific geographic location where this position is ultimately filled. Several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, certifications, pay equity, and organizational needs, are considered when determining the posted salary range. In addition, eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
