Midi is a rapidly growing telehealth company designed for women in midlife and backed by an extraordinary syndicate of investors, including GV (Google Ventures) and Emerson Collective. As the leading telehealth platform offering specialized primary and menopause care, we are seeking a talented, driven Senior Email Designer/Developer to join our growing Marketing Team.

The Compliance Manager will assist the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure all our operations comply with regulatory and accreditation standards, including NCQA, URAC, Medicare, and HIPAA regulations. This role involves monitoring and managing regulatory risks, maintaining and creating compliance documentation, and developing and leading training sessions to keep our team informed of regulatory changes. The position requires leadership skills and a deep understanding of the regulatory environment within the telehealth and healthcare industry.

The Business Impact 📈  

  • Create telehealth compliance program resources compliant with state and federal law and regulatory requirements.
  • Create, modify, maintain, and implement the company’s policies including, but not limited to, NCQA credentialing, telehealth, compliance program, privacy, and security policies. 
  • Create and execute ongoing compliance training programs for employees of the business.
  • Identify and address compliance gaps with internal business policies through corrective action to resolution. 
  • Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure that all business operations are in line with company policies and develop risk management strategies.
  • Assist with response to all internal, regulatory and client-specific audit requests and compliance-related questions and requests.
  • Work with the Chief Compliance Officer on HIPAA compliance program implementation and development. 
  • Preparation for Compliance Committee and IT Governance meetings.
  • Track and maintain open communication with the Chief Compliance Officer about regulatory changes and their impact on the organization. 

What you will need to succeed: 🌱

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the telehealth industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of NCQA credentialing and URAC telehealth accreditation standards and Medicare Compliance Program requirements.    
  • Proven track record in managing compliance programs and leading audits. 
  • Extensive experience in dealing with regulatory bodies and understanding of the regulatory environment specific to healthcare, telehealth and privacy and security.  
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
