Job Summary:
The Marketing Experimentation team is focused on driving a culture of experimentation to increase revenue peformance, improve guest experience, and drive deeper understanding of incremental growth opportunities across the full customer journey. This role will have a specific focus on experimentation in the digital experience (e.g., e-commerce and mobile app) and work closely across multiple stakeholders to drive a robust testing and experimentation roadmap to fuel the growth and innovation goals of the enterprise. The right person for this role will have digital conversion testing experience and a robust project management skillset to partner with stakeholders and drive tight accountability to timelines.
Job Responsibilities:
This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Experimentation and support digital experience (website/app) testing roadmaps end-to-end from initial hypothesis planning to dashboard building to post-campaign insight and analysis as well as performing audits and analysis.
This role will partner with many teams across Marketing Channel teams (Digital, Paid Media, Relationship Marketing, etc.) in support of driving greater value from digital experimentation performance and will also interface with various lines of business (e.g. Season Pass, Ski/Ride School, Lift Tickets, My Epic Gear & Rentals) and the IT team.
Some examples of what this person will do:
- Develop strategies to increase conversion across our largest North American resorts’ websites and the Epic Pass website.
- Ideate, design, execute, and measure Digital A/B tests by partnering with IT, UX designers, and LOB stakeholders to manage expectations, gain alignment with leadership, negotiate through prioritization, and drive results. Tests will manage key conversion points in the marketing funnel inclusive of A/B testing, buy-flow optimization, and CTA testing; rooted in best practices.
- Thorough knowledge of the scrum process, serve as Product Owner/Manager with the established Digital IT team responsible for executing code changes for tests and implementations.
- Own several ongoing projects with disparate timelines to completion, managing the work end-to-end.
- Work within various digital marketing tools and platforms to understand performance and identify areas of opportunity. Monitor key metrics and conversion rates for the business. Explain indicators and performance to management through curiosity and proficient storytelling.
- Serve as an expert on enterprise digital testing and educate members of the marketing team on website and buy-flow conversion opportunities related to the conversion rate and marketing funnel.
- Participate in strategic sessions relating to marketing and testing hypotheses to drive an out-front testing roadmap.
- As an integral member of the Marketing Experimentation team, work to expand successful digital program across paid media and email functions.

While the day-to-day largely focuses on Digital Experience and Conversion Improvement, there are strategic initiatives this person will be involved in to advance the effectiveness and efficiency of all digital marketing testing, with a focus on full-funnel/customer journey experimentation. This includes (but not limited to) being a thought leader in building Enterprise learning agendas (agnostic of channel or LOB), identifying hypotheses that go beyond just the digital experience, and growing the data test and learn literacy of the team and the organization.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related degree
- 3-6 years of digital/marketing/media analytics experience
- Sitecore, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, JIRA, Microsoft Excel/Powerpoint, Mouseflow, Tableau, Airship, testing tools such as Applied Predictive Technologies (APT)
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or strategic brand communication.
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $77,000 - $88,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
