Position Summary
Reporting to the GM Environmental Sustainability (Wine & Spirits), the Environmental Sustainability Analyst (Wine & Spirits) will manage the collection of data and statistical analysis of sustainability indicators to determine their effectiveness and progress toward business unit goals and objectives.
The Environmental Sustainability Analyst (Wine & Spirits) will support departmental leadership in studying new, and proposed sustainability projects, and overall program feasibility whilst simultaneously developing methodologies and documenting steps taken throughout the data collection and analysis process.
The position will additionally assist with a variety of projects working closely with managers, employees, consultants, and customers, to address the organizations approach to corporate social responsibility, sustainability and ESG programs.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with relevant business functions and key stakeholders the role will develop, manage, and maintain the business unit level, data & analytics roadmap, for environmental sustainability data.
- Own the collection and control of business unit level environmental sustainability data in accordance with internal and external reporting process and frameworks (examples include CDP, DJSI, GRI, SASB, TCFD, etc.).
- Manage the overall Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions data collection and calculation process for the Global Wine & Spirits Division including the gathering, control, and accuracy of Scopes 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions.
- Manage the tracking, statistical analysis, and development of analytic dashboards for key performance indicators related including energy, greenhouse gas, waste, water, packaging, responsible sourcing, and sustainable certification.
- Manage multiple Sustainability projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on evolving KPIs and deadlines.
- Develop and maintain internal project plans and monitor progress to ensure work is delivered timely and on budget.
- Engage in external member organization events and working groups to identify industry best practices.
- Stay current on regional trends and evolving regulations and protocols.
- Develop and deliver training on key sustainability topics to further employee awareness.
- Ad hoc projects and assigned duties, as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant academic field (environmental science, sustainability, data analytics, finance, engineering).
- 3+ years’ experience in a related field or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities (Wine Background a plus)
- Strong understanding of environmental, social and governance (ESG) concepts, and passion for sustainability.
- Familiarity with key reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD), leading ESG rating platforms (CDP, S&P SAM).
- Familiarity with Greenhouse Gas record keeping and inventory management.
- Candidate must have analytic problem-solving skills with an understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and be very detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
- Strong time management skills
- High proficiency in MS Office including MS PowerPoint, MS EXCEL
- Ability to clearly present and share information, including updating leadership teams and peers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior beverage industry or CPG experience would be advantageous but not critical.

The salary range for this role is:
$79,800.00 - $167,700.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
