You Will Be Responsible For

  • Setting high-performance standards that continually identify areas to improve, with a positive outlook that fills the team with enthusiasm and a lead-by-example mentality.
  • Maintains team's productivity, delivering software of the quality standard the team needs at this point in time, in a predictable and reasonable time frame.
  • Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.
  • Consciously and consistently foster the professional development of your team members, nurturing both their technical and interpersonal skills. Inspires day-to-day excellence and growth by effectively resolving issues with care, making sure engineers are getting the encouragement, recognition and feedback needed to succeed and grow.
  • Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical expertise and guidance on solution design and development.
  • Working with the team to deliver features fast and to a high quality by running good lean, agile processes and constantly reflecting on how these can be done better.
  • The team leader will contribute to recruiting new team members. As well, as reflects and works with others to improve the recruitment of engineering staff.

  • have a high level of proficiency in both spoken and written English. The ability to effectively communicate in English is essential for success in this role.
  • relevant experience managing a Software Development team, and experience in a high growth digital/product led SaaS company.
  • a desire to contribute to the success of a growing company, by not only growing and influencing those around you, but also learning and growing yourself.
  • a passion for technology, and how it can be used effectively and pragmatically to solve the needs of our customers in a scalable and maintainable manner.
  • proven practical experience building and maintaining web-based software solutions and working with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP in the role of engineer.
  • experience delivering projects with a significant amount of complexity in business logic. Able to identify and propose solutions for bottlenecks affecting product delivery pace, seems to proactively identify and tackle tech debt before it becomes a problem for customers.
  • practical experience in the design and implementation of API of different flavours like REST, gRPC, GraphQL
  • have an understanding and practical experience of using different software testing techniques, including unit/integration testing, manual/exploratory testing, and automated testing.
