Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and architectures.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
  • Implement ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
  • Ensure the quality, reliability, and integrity of the data infrastructure.
  • Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into applications.
  • Design and implement data models, schema, and structures.
  • Stay updated on emerging data technologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot data-related issues.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, SQL).
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
  • Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
  • Understanding of big data technologies and distributed systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
 
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics).
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance.
  • Familiarity with data lakes and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of data security and encryption.
  • Previous experience with real-time data processing.
