Compensation: $21-$23 per hour. You are eligible to a Short-Term Incentive with the target at 3% of your annual earnings, terms and conditions apply.
Clinical Data Curator I (Monday to Friday 8a to 5pm) - Remote: USA
The Clinical Data Curator I is responsible for tasks assigned by Supervisor, Clinical Data Curation. The main focus of the responsibilities will be interpreting information found on a patient test requisition form along with any medical records submitted with the requisition and then entering the relevant information into our database. Opportunities for disease-specific data curation, research and publication may arise for interested individuals
Essential Functions:
- Interpret and enter clinical information for daily incoming cases across any specialty. Clinical information may be obtained from test requisition forms, attached medical records and pedigrees, or communications with ordering clinicians
- Maintain clinical data records as updated information is provided to Ambry
- Follow-up with ordering clinicians as needed or as directed by supervisor for clarification of detail in records and requisition of additional records
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in biology-related field or equivalent healthcare or laboratory-related work experience
- Good interpersonal/communication skills
- General knowledge of computers and navigating databases
- Self-motivated and team-oriented
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in biology-related field preferred
- Interest in genetic counseling career, and/or previous lab experience a plus
- Previous experience working with medical records abstraction preferred

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
