Position Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Virtual Holistic Nutrition Professional to provide personalized nutrition counseling and support to clients through online platforms. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in holistic health practices, incorporating a whole-body approach to wellness that includes nutrition, lifestyle, and emotional well-being. You will work one-on-one with clients to help them achieve their health goals through customized dietary plans and holistic lifestyle adjustments while supporting their overall physical, mental, and emotional health.
Position Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities
1. Conduct Initial Assessments: Evaluate clients' health status, dietary habits, and wellness goals through virtual consultations.
2. Develop Personalized Nutrition Plans: Create individualized meal plans and recommendations based on clients’ specific health needs, preferences, and goals.
3. Holistic Wellness Counseling: Offer advice on balancing nutrition with other holistic health practices such as mindfulness, stress reduction, exercise, and sleep hygiene.
4. Monitor Client Progress: Regularly check in with clients to assess their progress, adjust plans as necessary, and provide motivation and support.
5. Collaboration: Work with other health professionals such as fitness trainers, mental health counselors, or naturopathic doctors as needed to ensure a multidisciplinary approach.
6. Client Follow-ups: Maintain detailed client records, follow-up schedules, and track changes in clients' health and wellbeing.
7. Stay Informed: Keep up with the latest trends and research in holistic nutrition, wellness practices, and food science to provide up-to-date advice.
Compliance & Ethics: Adhere to health regulations and ethical standards in all client interactions and recommendations.
8. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Requisite Qualifications
• Typically a High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Certification in Holistic Nutrition or a related field (e.g., Integrative Nutrition, Natural Health).
• Proven experience in nutrition counseling or holistic health coaching, preferably in a virtual setting.
• Strong knowledge of holistic wellness practices, including whole foods, supplements, and lifestyle factors affecting health.
• Typically 5 – 10 years instructional experience preferred.
• Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) evidenced by background in preparing comprehensive reports and demonstrated staff training and development sessions.
