Job Description

We are seeking a Data Acquisition Lead to oversee strategies for enhancing customer engagement and driving data acquisition across member institutions. This role will be instrumental in delivering actionable insights, managing case studies and developing key relationships with decision-makers. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building and implementing data-related initiatives, working with diverse teams, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll be Accountable for

  • Lead the execution of data acquisition strategies, focusing on customer engagement across all member institutions. 
  • Develop data-driven insights and craft compelling narratives to enhance member engagement and demonstrate the value of our solutions.
  • Build and maintain key client relationships, working closely with decision-makers to establish and implement data strategies that meet their needs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather, process, and integrate various data sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with business units such as Sales, Operations, and Product teams to identify key priorities and monitor progress on data acquisition initiatives.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for data analysis, designing case studies and drawing insights to support key business goals.
  • Understand the objectives behind business initiatives and guide discussions across distributed teams to align efforts with organizational goals.
  • Assume full ownership of data-related tasks, overseeing the process from planning and analysis to delivering insights that drive informed decision-making.
  • Identify and address data submission challenges faced by clients, providing solutions to ensure data integrity.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of data analysts and professionals.
  • Set clear objectives, provide coaching and ensure the team is aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct performance reviews and foster an environment of continuous learning and development

Qualifications
  • 10 to 15 years of experience within the Banking, BFSI, or Fintech sectors, paired with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MBA-Systems, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Familiarity with the loan cycle, credit bureau processes, or the broader financial services industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Bureau and Loan procedures would be advantageous.
  • Flexibility to travel as necessary to meet business demands.
  • Strong executive presence, with the confidence and assertiveness to manage high-level relationships.
  • A self-driven individual capable of working independently, navigating ambiguity, and making sound judgments in complex situations.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with strong organizational capabilities.
  • A high level of accountability, with the ability to multitask, coordinate across teams, and persistently pursue results.
