Summary of Job Duties:
Student will work under the direct supervision of a registered technologist to perform excellent patient care, safety and to produce diagnostic quality images.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School, GED or formal educational equivalent

  • Graduate of a Radiological Technology program

  • Must be a second year student in a Radiological Sciences Program

  • An Temporary Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained prior to start date.


Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Works with ordering and reading physicians through the process of completing MRI procedures

  • Communicates with patients, coworkers and physicians through written and verbal forms of communication.

  • Interacts with patients and family members during the entire procedure from prep to completion of the study.

  •  Other duties may be assigned to this position.
