Job Description:
Amplify is seeking a highly experienced project manager to lead the development of digital and print products in support of Amplify’s math suite. The Senior Project Manager will be accountable for program-level planning across multiple active projects, identifying cross-project dependencies and directly managing a subset of those projects. This would include guiding the project team through all phases of development of the math curriculum, from R&D to design, content development, production, and product launch. A successful Senior Project Manager will act as the steward of project goals, keeping the team aligned and ensuring delivery within the expected constraints. This role will create and track cross-project and project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, workflows, and resources. They will also own the processes of risk/issue management and decision/change management throughout each project’s lifecycle. The Senior Project Manager will also have accountability for production-level schedules and vendor management, ensuring internal and external alignment in order to meet project goals.
Essential Responsibilities:
Proactively manage all phases of product development, ensuring each phase is completed within established constraints
Create and manage multiple robust program and project plans throughout the project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality
Continuously manage, update, and mitigate risks and issues and work with teams to respond appropriately
Facilitate the processes of decision-making and change management to maintain team alignment and clear project goals
Report regularly to project leadership on project status, issues, risks, and decisions
Lead effective team collaboration meetings with team members at all levels of the organization with tact and diplomacy
Support and advocate for project teams and ensure they are set up for success by creating realistic project plans
Manage production vendors, including procurement (RFP/SOW creation), internal/external workflows, billing, and alignment to project milestones
Directly manage project coordinators with a people-first, career development mindset
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
8+ years of experience in a project management role managing complex, multi-year projects with annual budgets exceeding $3M
Experience managing 5+ cross-functional teams within a project lasting over 2 years
Proven ability to successfully organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Proven written, oral, and presentation skills with the ability to present information clearly and enthusiastically
Ability to travel as required

The gross annualized salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
