Data Engineer - Join Our Dynamic Team!

Are you passionate about solving complex data challenges and building seamless integrations? We seek a Data Engineer to join our fast-paced, collaborative environment and work on high-impact projects that drive accurate results!

Salary Range:  Maximum of PHP 120,000 per month

Note: Rate/Salary will depend on your current competencies matched to the position’s job description and requirements based on the assessment results.

What You’ll Do

• Build robust, custom data integrations that connect diverse systems.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from APIs into various databases, regardless of platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions on tight deadlines.
• Support multiple clients with ad-hoc tasks related to reporting and data insights.
• Work alongside a Senior Data Engineer to continually refine and improve our systems.
   

What You Bring to the Table

• ETL Mastery: You have extensive experience building custom ETL processes, especially when pulling data from APIs and loading it into databases.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient with NodeJS (preferred) or Python, you’re comfortable navigating different environments and building API integrations (you’ll be pulling from APIs, not building them).
• Database Expertise: Skilled in working with relational databases and able to support complex data environments.
• Team Player: You're collaborative, communicate clearly, and can easily handle multiple clients.
• Consultative Mindset: You’re experienced in a consultative environment, balancing client needs with technical demands.
• Top-Notch Organizational Skills: You have excellent time management skills and consistently provide daily reports in Slack or ClickUp to keep everyone aligned.
   

Bonus Points For

• Experience managing Azure, AWS, Digital Ocean, or GCP cloud environments.
• Familiarity with non-relational databases and working across multiple data platforms.
• Proven experience in complex data analysis handling multiple data sources.
• A knack for communication using Gmail and Slack, ensuring seamless internal collaboration.
• Strategic thinking: You're assertive, ambitious, self-motivated, and can drive projects independently.
