Your Role

Under the leadership of the Sales manager DACH Diagnostics, you will be responsible for developing, driving and executing the commercial plan within the DACH territory and supporting the expansion of the region. In this sales role, you will develop deep customer relationships within Diagnostics accounts, which are primarily mid-sized and Global Strategic Accounts (GSA).

You are responsible for developing your territory and the account based sales plan. You execute the plan for the territory to meet or exceed the company's commercial objectives and you develop supply agreements in collaboration with other functions. You partner across the company (R&D, Early Development, Production, GSA …) to communicate customers needs to drive future growth. You use, update and manage the SFDC system and you effectively manage and provide regular accurate forecasts for your territory. You drive prospecting and developing new leads within the assigned customer base and you organise seminars at the customers with the support of the specialists and other roles to generate new leads and new opportunities.

This field sales role is home-based and can be based either in Germany or in Switzerland - the preferred location is Central or Northern Germany due to the territory you are responsible for.

Who You Are

  • Master's degree in Life Sciences or in a related scientific field such as Chemistry, Biology
  • 8+ years of proven sales experience and success in the Life Science industry
  • 3 days per week travelling in the DACH region
  • In depth knowledge of the Diagnostics market
  • Fluent German and English for customer facing communication
  • Highly adaptable and can work independently
  • Strong desire to build customer relationships for long-term engagement
