Position: Medical Prior Authorization Specialist

Pay: $17/hr. Weekly Pay plus Benefits

Schedule: 7am-8pm CST. M-Fri. (8hr Shift between these hours) Equipment Provided

Start Date: November 2024

  • Equipment provided and must be picked up in Irving, TX***

Job Details

  • Inbound and outbound calls.
  • Using computer skills for data entry.
  • Gathering and reviewing patient billing and medical information.
  • Analyze complex problems or scenarios and provide expert solutions.
  • Operating according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program.
  • Work with other team members or departments to provide insights and expertise as needed.
  • Working with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient

Job Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of previous Medical Benefits experience (NO EXCEPTIONS)

  • Medical call center experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to multi-task and use dual monitors.
  • Great work attitude and willingness to help others.
  • HS Diploma/Equivalent.
