Job description

Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a Vice President of MDR Sales to be part of revolutionizing these industries.

What You Will Do:

  • You will be responsible for the overall success of the MDR sales team.
  • You will be responsible for identifying team training needs, opportunities, and support issues for the MDR sales team.
  • You will be customer centric in your decisions. You will master the industry landscape, who is doing what, understanding competitors, and discerning market intelligence.
  • You will navigate politics (internal & external) with the collaboration & success of a pro.
  • You will be responsible for the overall future revenue growth of MDR Solutions business.
  • You will manage the sales team through identifying and qualifying prospects (cold & warm), on site visits, networking, value presentations, negotiations (using a win/win philosophy) and client procurement.
  • You will be a Paradigm product evangelist, identifying and showcasing exponential value to client contacts at all levels (from end users to executive level).
  • You can see the big picture but are comfortable being in the day to day. This includes proposal creation (responding to RFP’s), creation of and monitoring of ROI metrics, development of strategic account plans and more!
  • You will work with internal stakeholders including legal/contracting, accounting, product and services. You will provide “in the field” insight into potential product evolutions and offerings and real time feedback on user experience.
  • You will collaborate with product leaders, providing in the field insights around potential product enhancement needs. Your team will aggregate and analyze customer requests to provide comprehensive requests for road map iterations and enhancements.
  • You will be an advocate for the customer, supporting our teams with how to deliver messages to customers. You will act as an escalation point to support customer matters.


What You Need to Succeed:

  • 8+ years of proven sales experience ideally in a SaaS or similar industry (strong experience working with complex solutions is very important), at least 3 years in a leadership management role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or an equal amount of related professional experience
  • You are known for your excellent collaboration & relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate & organize autonomously with a variety of internal & external stakeholders. This may include services, marketing & development (in multiple offices & internationally).
  • You are flexible, able to adjust and change direction as the business & tech environments evolve & change. You are entrepreneurial in spirit; unchartered territories & problems energize you.
  • You have strong presentation skills. You will be able to transition between team presentations, Board presentations and multi-faceted client audiences.
  • You will be traveling nationally to customers and Paradigm locations – we expect this travel to be up to 40%.
