SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, the Engineering Software Engineer maintains access to the databases used by engineering and technical support personnel.
JOB DUTIES
Maintains access to the databases.
Supports clients with networks and virtual machines.
Supports the technical team with hydraulic product expertise.
Identifies opportunities for process and procedure enhancements and communicates them to drive efficiency.
Manages multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field and eight (8) to ten (10) years of related experience; or equivalent combination.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Visual Basic language programming.
Hydraulic product knowledge.
Communicates complex procedures to other colleagues.
Pays close attention to detail and desires to probe further into data.
