As a Senior Development Supply Manager (d/f/m), you will be responsible for establishing clear and effective supply chain for global biosimilars technical and/or clinical development (information, material, and funds flow) considering internal policies and external regulations (VAT, customs, and international trade). You will also be managing a complex network of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring supply chain-related project delivery and influencing partner performance to meet Sandoz’ needs.

Your key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Acting as the owner of the global biosimilars technical and/or clinical development supply chain set-ups (information, material, and funds flows) and gaining necessary governance approvals.
  • Conducting strategic and tactical analysis to define the optimal, consistent, and compliant supply chain set-ups (information, material, and funds flows).
  • Leading cross-functional alignment with internal stakeholders (e.g., Tax, Funds Flow, Customs and Foreign Trade, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain Management and Compliance) for complex new business scenarios and external partners affected by supply chain setups.
  • Supporting and collaborating with technical and/or clinical functions to establish optimal supply plan and monitoring deviations versus budget.
  • Managing the handover process and governance to the commercial supply chain team.
  • Designing, maintaining and overseeing the operational execution of defined supply chain set-ups over the entire development portfolio (25+ programs).
  • Documenting, communicating, and managing supply chain relevant risks/opportunities within development programs or project teams, including responding to ad hoc requests for analysis or information.  Risks/opportunities could include HSE, quality, and compliance topics.
  • Supporting sourcing and procurement processes for development materials.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science or business-related field (preferably in science, but not essential).
  • 5-7 years of experience, preferably in supply chain management, procurement, or finance.
  • Demonstrated ability in project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Proficient in the English language.
