Key Responsibilities :

Drive Engagement : Build strong relationships with critical partners, including external suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders (e.g., Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering) to align on complex topics and influence positive outcomes for the quality function.
Industry Research : Conduct research to identify best practices, tools, and methods to enhance supplier quality performance and engage with industry experts to achieve Quality 4.0 aspirations.
Continuous Improvement : Identify growth opportunities for the function by applying business knowledge to ensure the proper implementation of APQP processes, AIAG tools, and Cummins specialty tools, driving zero defect outcomes.
Compliance and Governance : Set operational direction for enterprise-wide compliance with quality systems standards (e.g., IATF16949, ISO9001) and coordinate enterprise-level management reviews.
Partnerships : Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to achieve business objectives, support complex projects, and ensure successful resolution of functional challenges.
Leadership Development : Design and lead initiatives to create business results or enhance the customer experience using lean and six-sigma methodologies; support global implementation of corporate initiatives.
Functional Learning Strategy : Contribute to developing a functional learning strategy, including experiential learning, networking, professional associations, and formal training courses.
Team Development : Establish team capability through coaching and mentoring, providing growth opportunities for Supplier Quality professionals, and supporting their development through stretch assignments.

Responsibilities

Experience :

Preferably 5 years of experience leading relevant work within the automotive industry or a similarly regulated industry.
