How You’ll Make a Difference

The Director of Learning Design and Development will oversee the creation of exceptional digital and physical content for PMI’s learning experiences. Manage content production, instructional design, and facilitate relationships with vendors to ensure our content development needs are met efficiently.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

  • 10+ years of experience in content design, media production, instructional development, or related field required.
  • Advanced degree in instructional design, multimedia production, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with hybrid digital (asynchronous and synchronous) delivery formats preferred.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams of instructional designers and content developers.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Passion for the craft of creating instructional media: the science and delight of adult learning, the aesthetic and technical and content choices.
  • Ability to balance natural creativity with a desire to create scalable, sustainable systems
  • Commitment to equitable leadership and team practices, including transparency, modeling vulnerability, encouraging dissent, interrupting group think, advocating for radical inclusion, and employing active listening
  • O ccasional domestic and international travel may be required for internal team or leadership meetings, or for community-facing events
