Empower is looking for a Personalization Senior Product Manager to join our team. As Senior PM, you'll lead the development of crucial digital capabilities utilizing web/mobile data to enhance our digital experiences. Your role will involve integrating marketing and customer experience platforms to drive personalization strategies for the enterprise.


What you will do:

  • Enhance customer experiences and scale up the technologies behind our marketing and communication tools, including emails, notifications, and SMS
  • Support organizational objectives, such as increasing customer acquisition, engagement, and loyalty, all in support of Empower's mission to guide clients to financial freedom
  • Help shape our MarTech technology team. This entails crafting the vision, pinpointing opportunities, establishing goals, shaping customer/marketer interactions, and rolling out new features
  • Own the product roadmap, including both significant short and long-term opportunities for your product and in the context of the broader organizational strategy and goals
  • Obsess about the product design, partnering closely with designers to constantly look for opportunities to simplify and deliver a better experience
  • Leverage customer research, usability testing, and market research in your strategy to improve likelihood of success and user satisfaction
  • Partner closely with engineering and design to increase team velocity, cohesiveness, and productivity
  • Drive decision making through customer insights, agile methods to validate hypothesis, quantitative analysis, and A/B testing


What you will bring:

  • 7+ years of experience leading major digital D2C products and working collaboratively with engineering, design, and research teams
  • 3+ years of experience in martech and/or salestech
  • Excellent communication skills, storytelling, and organizational skills that instill confidence in senior leaders, cross-functional partners, and peers
  • Relentless follow through and commitment to do the right thing and do what you say
  • Detail and design oriented; the details really matter to you
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; MBA is a plus

  • Proven track record of navigating through the full product life cycle, integrating customer feedback in requirements, driving prioritization, and pre/post-launch execution
  • Experience in the fintech industry with demonstrable knowledge of industry best practices

Base Salary Range

$109,600.00 - $158,950.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
