What You'll Do

Looking for the role to accelerate your career? The Onboarding Support Specialist will be responsible for helping with the onboarding process for the Avalara MyLodgeTax product. This role will play a key part in impacting the customer experience with end users. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to succeed in providing great customer service and enhance efficiencies with our sales and support functions.

Job Duties

  • Exceed established onboarding goals in a high growth segment of Avalara
  • Follow-up with customers to be sure they’ve completed their online account in order to move onto licensing status. This will require phone and email follow up and coordination with internal teams.
  • Work with Sales Executives, Support, and Licensing teams to successfully onboard customers
  • Listen to customers with an ability to anticipate their needs and help them accordingly
  • Support the Sales Team in their daily roles


What You'll Need to be Successful

  • Four year degree preferred
  • 3+ years of customers service or sales experience
  • Positive attitude and confident
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organized with work with Salesforce.com (or equivalent CRM) and tracking leads
  • Highly self-motivated, proven ability to meet and exceed goals
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task under time constraints
  • Ability to convey information and walk a customer through steps
  • Capable of working independently and significantly contributing to the team
