(CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY)

Social Media Manager 

Work Location:  Hybrid or Remote*

Assignment Length:  6 to 9 months

Hourly Range of Pay:  $30-40/hour

Your mission: ignite awareness, drive growth, and foster engagement for Universal Audio. You'll use social media analytics tools to craft social strategy, curate editorial calendars, and launch groundbreaking campaigns that transcend our core audience. You'll also collaborate with a curated roster of creators to produce top-tier content showcasing Universal Audio.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft and execute a strategic social media plan establishing a commanding presence on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other key platforms
  • Drive an increase in brand awareness, achieve growth in follower count, and elevate engagement and sentiment across all platforms
  • Develop and implement a robust system for measuring and communicating the impact of social media efforts
  • Collaborate with UA teams and creators to produce dynamic and innovative social media content
  • Proactively identify influential creators and assist them in generating high-quality content that showcases their use of Universal Audio gear.
  • Monitor trends on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms, continually testing, learning, and optimizing strategies to integrate Universal Audio into relevant, on-brand trends seamlessly
  • Take ownership of the social media editorial calendar, overseeing copy, content, design, and performance metrics
  • Partner closely with product teams to ensure effective amplification of key product launches and features across social media channels

Requirements: 

  • Mastery of social media platforms, tools, and best practices
  • Strong visual, writing, and communications skills
  • Experience making data-driven decisions based on social/digital marketing
  • analytics tools
  • Music background with experience in recording or music creation
  • Familiarity or experience with UA products is a plus
