We are currently looking for an Influencer Manager.

As Influencer Manager at Fishbrain, your role is to build strong relationships with influencers and ambassadors who align with our brand and help amplify Fishbrain’s presence in the fishing community. You will be responsible for finding the right influencers, engaging with them, and once they're signed, do the planning, executing, and tracking influencer campaigns, ensuring we reach our audience with authentic and engaging content. This role is vital in driving awareness and engagement for Fishbrain, leveraging influencers to strengthen our brand presence and deepen connections within the fishing community.

At Fishbrain, we work with two types of influencer partners:

  • Influencers – These are paid collaborations with influencers outside the Fishbrain platform. This can also include micro-influencers who may not receive payment, but are offered limited-time free subscriptions and merchandise in exchange for their content.

  • Ambassadors – These are Fishbrain users we want to spotlight within our community. We support them with Fishbrain merchandise to boost their visibility.

Your daily work will involve:

Discovery and Negotiation

  • Identify influencers who are passionate about fishing and align with Fishbrain’s brand.

  • These influencers are active on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with influencers.

Campaign Planning

  • Plan influencer campaigns, specifying timelines, content requirements, and desired outcomes.

  • Provide influencers with clear guidelines on what to say and what to avoid, along with a detailed creative brief that outlines the key messaging.

  • Review and approve influencer content to ensure it meets our brand standards.

Follow-up and Monitoring

  • Track and monitor completed campaigns, ensuring compliance to posting schedules, proper tagging, and meeting deadlines.

  • Measure campaign results and report on engagement metrics such as reach, clicks, and conversions and other relevant metrics.

Budget and Contract Management

  • Stay within the allocated influencer marketing budget, negotiating responsibly to maximize reach and impact.

  • Manage agreements, deliverables, and deadlines in influencer contracts.

  • Ensure influencers meet all contractual obligations, including posting frequency, tagging, and deadlines.

Stakeholder management

  • Collaborate closely with the CMO to make informed decisions on pricing, negotiation strategies, and content formats, ensuring all campaigns align with the broader marketing strategy.

  • Regularly inform internal stakeholders such as the marketing team, product teams, and the rest of the organization about campaign progress and key updates.

Research and Trends

  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, influencer marketing best practices, and competitor activities.

Crisis Management

  • Quickly address any issues or negative feedback from influencer campaigns.

  • Handle reputation risks if influencer content doesn’t align with Fishbrain’s values or causes controversy.


What we are fishing for: 

  • Proven experience in Influencer Marketing (minimum 6 months).
  • In-depth knowledge of the social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Strong networking skills and experience building relationships with influencers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
