J.E. Brown & Associates seeks a motivated candidate for our Regional Sales Manager opportunity in the Southwestern region.

Marketing & Sales – Solicit, establish, and maintain rapport with prospective and assigned retail agents to secure new and renewal business as well as participate in USLI’s 50/50 Sales training program.

This is a hybrid outside sales role requiring in-person and virtual agent visits in Arizona and surrounding areas. We are excited to provide training and development for this opportunity. The candidate will need to be located near a major metropolitan area in Arizona

What You Will Do

  • Solicit, screen, appoint and train new agents
  • Make a combination of in-person and virtual sales calls four out of five days a week.
  • Collect and analyze data for implications regarding direction of territory.
  • Establish and maintain rapport with agents
  • Follow-up and secure new and renewal business
  • Resolve agent problems
  • Assist J.E. Brown underwriters to place business; follow up on quoted accounts
  • Establish and achieve agent production goals
  • Collects and analyzes data for implications regarding direction of territory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Pursue a course of personal and professional development

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Self-motivated, independent personality with the ability to work with little supervision
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Positive and energetic phone demeanor
  • Proficiency with MS Office – particularly excel
  • High level of integrity
  • Team player mentality
  • Problem solving skills and professional conduct
  • Ability to establish and build relationships
  • P&C insurance license within 90 days of employment
  • This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.
