Job Mission

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a network of reliable and high-performing partners to distribute Moog products in France and Belgium. You will also be responsible for developing Moog product after-sales service in the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Actively identify and prospect new potential partners.
  • Manage the network and ensure partners are up-to-date on new Moog products.
  • Establish and maintain long-lasting commercial relationships with existing partners.
  • Understand the needs and challenges of partners to propose tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms in accordance with company policy.
  • Monitor partner performance and implement corrective actions if necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and support teams to ensure partner satisfaction.
  • Participate in trade shows and networking events to represent the company.
  • Provide regular reports on commercial activity and results obtained.
  • Identify and prospect end-customers using Moog products to offer after-sales service.
  • Ensure end-customers are satisfied with after-sales services.
  • Provide commercial presence and first-level technical advice to after-sales service end-customers.
  • Follow established commercial processes.
  • Maintain a good understanding of products and services sold.

Working Relationships

Working on the road and prospecting, the sales engineer is under the supervision of the sales director who defines his objectives. He remains autonomous in his work but must be able to work in interaction with the sales administration department, the laboratory team, and the service intervention team. Communication is paramount.

Required Profile

  • Engineering degree or equivalent, with a specialization in sales.
  • Significant experience in B2B sales of industrial components.
  • Knowledge of the French distribution network for hydraulic industrial components.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Autonomy, dynamism, and ability to work as a team.
  • Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Availability for frequent travel in France and Belgium
