Overview:

Medical Solutions' Dynamics Developers are part of a team supporting systems that are a vital component of a company that is changing the landscape in the travel nursing industry. The Principal Dynamics Developer plays a critical role in building and maintaining high-quality and high-performing systems that are used by a diverse set of internal and external customers. 

 

The Principal Dynamics Developer should be passionate about creating awesome experiences for our customers and teammates. The Principal Dynamics Developer will be a primary technical and functional expert in our Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O platform, while considering all enterprise systems and design solutions.  This individual will focus on both strategy and tactical design and delivery of enhancements to our systems; working to customize, integrate, develop workflows, perform system analysis, and provide ongoing support of the platform. This role will leverage out of the box functionality native to Dynamics where possible and extend the platform where necessary using custom development and interfaces between Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and other systems.  They will build strong relationships with Product Owners and delivery teams within IT to build and maintain high-quality and highly-performing systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Identifies and recommends new technologies and new design patterns
  • Directs the design and implementation of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines
  • Leads development and scrum teams as the head technical subject matter expert with a strong understanding of business processes supported by existing and future applications
  • Mentors junior developers and helps define and enforce development best practices and coding standards
  • Proactively identifies risks for delivery and develops plans to manage and minimize risks
  • Develops detailed technical solution documentation that is aligned with current business objectives and applications
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for vendor management including managing tickets and increasing awareness of product roadmaps for specified platforms/systems
  • Adheres to platform guidance for the implementation of custom features, functionality, and workflows
  • Participates in and often leads and initiates architectural design discussions
  • Participates in and often leads code reviews for ongoing projects and enhancements to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are being used
  • Leads the most complex problem management and root cause analysis
  • Guides the team to reach their goals
  • Builds and presents technical roadmaps
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of specific areas of the business supported by the team
  • Enforces industry and company best practices within the team
  • Owns the DevOps implementation for the team
  • Coordinates and leads team activities with Solution and Enterprise Architects
  • Prioritizes unit testing within the team to ensure a high level of code coverage and quality
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 9+ years of D365 Finance and Operations development experience
  • Extensive X++ Development experience
  • Extensive experience with the Azure cloud platform and services (Azure functions, Service Bus, Active Directory, etc.)
  • Extensive experience in utilizing Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Extensive experience defining and developing integrations using APIs
  • Ability to develop advanced custom forms, functions, and workflows within the platform
  • Experience with messaging and microservices integration
  • Experience with writing and troubleshooting Microsoft Dynamics 365 plug-ins and custom workflows
  • Experience with SQL, Exchange, UKG, SharePoint
  • C# and/or .net framework required
  • Application Performance Monitoring (e.g. App Insights, NewRelic)
  • Understanding of ERP tools and related business processes, including basic accounting concepts
  • In-depth knowledge platform/system functionality
  • Demonstrated ability to build dynamic reports

Pay Range: USD $170,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
