Job description

As a Campaign Manager with Encoura you will build and strengthen client relationships to sustain long-term partnerships. Your goal is to understand client short-term and long-term goals and ensure that Encoura delivers.  You will work with internal and external resources to drive successful execution of media plans, present performance data, and brainstorm strategic growth and optimization initiatives for clients.  
 
Your success will directly impact Encoura’s ability to empower students and institutions to create meaningful connections so everyone can make the most informed decisions to achieve their goals. This role will work closely with the Digital Sales team, Operations, Media Managers and Clients. 

Primary Role and Responsibilities
  • Technical and Strategic Digital Marketing liaison between the Digital Operations team, the Digital Sales team and Internal Marketing team  
  • The in-house digital marketing campaign measurement and analytics expert, providing our clients with top-notch expertise and guidance on effectively tracking and optimizing for campaigns strategy  
  • Responsible for understanding each individual campaign goals (maximize leads, web traffic, return visits, etc.) and properly setting expectations and helping to define the digital strategy to achieve those campaign goals.  
  • Explain complex concepts fluidly and across different levels of expertise.  
  • Build and maintain excellent client & partner relationships  
  • Clearly communicate progress and performance of ad initiatives addressing any technical issues, launch delays, delivery concerns, and/or data anomalies with internal stakeholders as well as our partners  
  • Address questions and concerns in a timely and accurate manner  
  • Build and analyze reports that are accurate and clearly depict ad performance  
  • Assist with asset gathering, ad trafficking, troubleshooting, data enhancements, third-party tracking and validation, performance reporting, and optimization    
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills   
  • Understand and present data from multiple strategies within TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, Google, display marketing, mobile geo-fencing strategies, along with app marketing strategies.  
  • Understand and implement app and lead generation strategies to support our internal marketing efforts. 

  • A Day in the Life
  • Ensure that the client is optimally set-up to track campaign results and the results are in line with co-established campaign goals (Access to GTM and GA, pages are tagged, tags are firing, etc.)   
  • Ensure that all campaign assets (creative, URLs, Ad copy, Paid Search details, tags) are approved and double-checked prior to campaign being trafficked for implementation   
  • Day-to-day management of a portfolio of top client’s digital marketing campaigns   
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide the client with bi-weekly reporting and optimization recommendations.   
  • Identify opportunities for client to introduce additional strategies to the plan to better achieve their goals (i.e. Adding retargeting keywords to drive larger share of market)   
  • Meet with clients in a team environment to review results and make recommendations based on trends

  • Role Progression
  • Within 1 month: Shadowing team members to learn basic job functions and training in platform. You will learn our business, culture, and get to know the amazing people you will work with at Encoura.   
  • Within 2 months: Start taking ownership of less complex tasks and taking on client calls to walk clients through tracking and tag set up. You will also start working with Regional Directors on reporting and strategy.   
  • Within 4 months – 1 year: You will feel confident in your role and will be able to work independently with clients and in all aspects of the job. You will own all functions of your own book of business.

  • About You
  • Five or more years of direct, full-time experience in digital marketing   
  • Strong understanding of key digital marketing solutions (Search Marketing, Social, Video, Retargeting, Location-based Mobile (geo-fencing), 1st Party Data Marketing, App Marketing etc.)   
  • Familiarity and experience with Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, and LinkedIn Ad platforms   
  • Fundamental understanding of all aspects of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager  
  • Ability to effectively interact on a daily basis with Digital Sales Team at Encoura, and multiple Higher Education clients to ensure campaign success from campaign start to finish (implementation, optimization, reporting)   
  • Strong problem-solving, organization and communications skills   
  • Strong customer service skills
