Business Analyst/Consultant

Senior Business Analyst/Consultant capabilities with 10 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and business process needs.

This senior role has responsibility for supporting system transformation efforts, including the analysis and documentation of existing software and systems. This role will work with subject matter experts from the business and technology teams to elicit requirements, ensuring that business processes are properly mapped to supporting systems, applications, data sets, interfaces, batch processes and reports.

The senior business analyst reviews, analyzes and evaluates business systems and user needs and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. The senior business analyst is experienced with business process requirements gathering and creating/documenting technical requirements, and business process evaluation and process improvement. They help identify new ways technology can solve business problems and make business more effective. They provide business process mapping, prepare solution options and risk identification. These roles will also assist in software quality assurance testing. The Senior Business Analyst is familiar with industry standards, current and emerging technologies, and business process mapping, and reengineering.
