About this Position:

  • This position will work from home and also require some work onsite at an assigned Southfield, MI office work location.
  • Accurately document receipt of titles and file and store titles upon receipt from State DMVs or Dealers.
  • Professionally and respectfully communicate with customers to obtain needed documents or information necessary to understand their needs.
  • Identify errors on titles and escalate when appropriate.
  • Distribute titles to Title Specialists when requested.
  • Assist with processing paperwork.
  • Mail completed title paperwork.  
  • Support the teams within the department as needed/requested.

Outcomes & Activities:

  • Timely respond and process title related paperwork received via email, mail and fax.
  • Accurately enter title information into applicable system(s).
  • Accurately store and organize physical titles in the title room
  • Pull titles requested by internal departments and provide to Title Specialists for proper distribution.
  • Escalate title change requests to Title Specialists.
  • Process and mailing title paperwork.
  • Identify and escalate any roadblocks to leadership that is preventing the team from meeting the standards of service.  
  • Remain compliant with our policies, processes and legal guidelines.
  • Adhere to Attendance as outlined in the Operations Attendance policy.
  • Work onsite at the Credit Acceptance work location.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Meet qualifications to become a Notary.
  • Experience efficiently and accurately completing forms and/or data entry.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the finance or automotive industry.
  • Experience with vehicle titles.

Training & Schedule Requirements:

Training:

  • 4 weeks of onsite training

  • Monday through Friday: 8am - 5pm EST

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday: 7am-7pm (Flex Schedule - 8 hours)

  • 4 days working onsite in Southfield, MI and 1 day working remote


Targeted Compensation: $17.00-$20.25/hour based on experience.

Targeted Bonus: Uncapped monthly bonus potential based on individual performance. The estimated average bonus target for this position is around $300.
