Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize all warehouse operations, ensuring seamless processes from receiving components to dispatching products.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies while forecasting future requirements to maintain stock levels.
  • Negotiate advantageous terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective solutions and ensure prompt deliveries.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to monitor inventory and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure production timelines are consistently met.
  • Advocate for and implement continuous improvement initiatives based on lean manufacturing principles.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related domain.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (valid forklift certification is a plus).
  • Proficiency in utilizing ERP, CMMS, or inventory management systems is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with departments and vendors.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or Google Suite.
  • Willingness to relocate to Chicago to work on-site daily.
