Key Responsibilities

  • Execute precise bank reconciliations with a strong focus on detail.
  • Maintain and update the General Ledger to guarantee accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and record Journal Entries in a timely manner.
  • Conduct an efficient Month-End Close process to enhance financial accuracy.
  • Comply with GAAP accounting standards.
  • Utilize QuickBooks effectively for superior financial management.

Required Skills

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks software.
  • Strong expertise in general ledger management, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail along with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing the General Ledger and completing bank reconciliations.
  • Competence in preparing and analyzing Journal Entries.
  • Effective multitasking and prioritization abilities to manage workload efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of handling substantial data sets.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
