Job Description

Endava Games is a leading development partner in the video games industry, dedicated to developing some of the biggest titles on the market. Our mission is to break down barriers in game development, making game technology accessible to all developers, regardless of their size.

100% Remote position, working with an international team on AA or AAA PC and Console games using some of the latest licensed and proprietary game technology and engines. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Lead complex, cross-disciplined development projects, including deep partner engagement, internal and partner technology initiatives, and product and game design management.  
  • Own and innovate strong game development and project management practices and drive successful delivery and completion against goals, commitments, quality, and related metrics.  
  • Ensure clear and constructive communication of project goals, status of deliverables, risks and mitigations plans with teams, clients, and senior leadership.  
  • Potential to manage a small team of Development Directors and/or Producers, providing strong coaching, mentoring, adoption of best practices, and career growth.   
  • Support product development leadership to define and execute quarterly OKRs, KPIs and our pursuit of “iterating to greatness”.  

Qualifications
  • 8+ years combined experience developing PC or Console games.   
  • 5+ years leading cross-discipline game development teams in a senior Development Director or Production role.   
  • 2+ years recent experience leading development on console/PC platforms, in a AAA game environment.  
  • Proven record of leading the successful delivery for meaningful game development efforts, including at least one shipped title.   
  • Experience leading projects with significant technical complexity, with the ability to understand coding, algorithms and lead deep technical meetings.  
  • Collaborative, servant leader who brings excitement and enthusiasm to work each day.     
  • Strong communication and writing skills across all levels of an organization.   
  • Experience in driving initiatives across technical, engineering, design, art and QA teams.   
  • Passion for developing and delivering amazing video games.  
  • Experience working remotely and across time zones and locations.  
  • Experience with agile and waterfall project management processes and tools.  
  • Agile and other project management certifications are a great bonus.   
  • Demonstrable ability to understand and convert the Project, Business and Client strategies into tactical activities that maintain a projects positive momentum.
