Job Description: Telehealth Support Virtual Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to join our telehealth team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing patient interactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of our telehealth services.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Contact:
    Answer inbound calls from patients and potential clients.
    Schedule appointments and manage cancellations.
    Provide information about our telehealth services and answer patient questions.
  • Doctor Follow-Up:
    Follow up with doctors regarding patient appointments and referrals.
    Coordinate with doctors to schedule appointments and communicate patient information.
  • Referrals Management:
    Receive and process referrals from other healthcare providers.
    Schedule appointments for referred patients.
    Maintain referral records and track outcomes.
  • Medical Claims/Billing:
    Process medical claims using our billing software (ICT10).
    Follow up on claims and resolve any issues.
  • Email Management:
    Respond to emails from patients, doctors, and other healthcare providers in a timely and professional manner.
  • EMR Management:
    Utilize our EMR software (Optimus PT) to document patient information and track appointments.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience with medical billing and insurance (preferred).
  • Proficiency in using EHR and EMR software (Optimus PT).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
