Job description

We are seeking a Delivery Manager to oversee the implementation and configuration of various systems and solutions. As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for managing the implementation and configuration of various systems and solutions. Engage with the client in discussions of the business goals and solution implementation strategy. Work with the business users to define the project scope and timelines. Contribute to the project plan and run execution, manage cross-functional project teams across multiple geographies, solution practices and business domains. Self-motivated, proactive individual, comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to drive a project from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities


  • Engage with the client in discussions of the business goals and solution implementation strategy
  • Work with the business users to define the project scope and timelines
  • Contribute into project plan and run execution
  • Manage cross-functional project teams across multiple geographies, solution practices, and business domains
  • Drive a project from concept to delivery
  • Oversee the complete recruitment processes for candidates
  • Aid in enhancing the EPAM brand and attracting top talents to the company
  • Furnish project and business teams with qualified candidates along with the additional information required to evaluate the candidate
  • Support the creation of reports as required by the TA team
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the recruiting process


Requirements


  • BS ME/EE/CE degree or equivalent
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, hands-on in coding in Java or .NET (latest versions)
  • Experience building a high-level software architecture (component/application, deployment, sequence/DFD), from a business target's point of view ('Conceptual diagram' for any technology stack, 'Solution structure' for own technology stack)
  • Participate/contribute in/to all design and architectural discussions within the team, with customers
  • Perform code reviews, estimations, capacity, and release planning
  • Evaluate, and implement branching & merging strategies
  • Evaluate, propose and adapt tools/software for improving efficiency
  • Solid knowledge of software development life cycle
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in planning project deliverables and roadmap in close collaboration with product owners
  • Ability to coordinate across developers, vendors, and business users
  • Experience in issue resolution across multiple locations and businesses
  • Demonstrated skill in client relationship management and ability to manage, direct and command respect from technical and delivery team members
  • Ability to engage with the client in technology discussions
  • Experience in managing implementation challenges in the area of integration, design, configurability, and infrastructure
  • B2+ English level proficiency
