This is a Fully Remote (UK) position

What we are looking for:

We are embarking on a significant business transformation project and require an experienced iOS Engineer to join our team and drive the modernisation of our app platforms. As a hands-on senior engineer, you will be involved in everything from writing code to developing our native strategies.


You would be part of a multi-functional engineering organizational team, with UX, Backend, Web, and App Engineers, focusing on extending, solving challenges, and improving our high-traffic app, while mentoring engineers around you, assisting in pull request reviews, hiring, maintaining, and advocating strong development standards.



What you will be doing…

  • Highly experienced in developing, building, testing and releasing apps for iOS in an automated continuous delivery pipeline
  • Highly experienced in delivering quality, testable code that is clear, concise, well-documented and adheres to commercial standards 
  • Experience in Swift, SwiftUI 
  • Experienced with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications with backend services 
  • Experienced with clean architecture patterns and design patterns like MVVM 
  • Experience with version control (Trunk/Git Flow based development) 
  • Familiarity with application profiling (Instruments) 
  • Familiarity with XCTest, XCUITest, Snapshot testing, performance testing 
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (voiceover, dynamic types etc) 
  • Familiarity with design systems (figma) 
  • Comfortable developing without the need for frameworks or libraries 
  • Familiarity with component-based (SPM) development 
  • Up To date with latest apple technologies and standards



What you will need to bring…

  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical 
  • Hands on, willing to roll up your sleeves and help the team succeed 
  • Self-motivated, always seeking to continuously improve
  • Comfortable providing and receiving constructive feedbacks, particularly while participating in code reviews
  • Familiar working in Agile teams and delivering software using Agile methodologies 
  • Ability to technically direct a team and develop strategies for the future 
  • Work with senior stakeholders 
  • Having a product mindset (strong customer focus) Additional Interests 
  • Experience with one or more cross-platform technologies (e.g. Kotlin multiplatform)
  • Experience with BFF microservice pattern is desirable 
  • Experience with Firebase and Google Cloud Platform
