Job description

This is a remote position.

A QuickBooks Online (QBO) bookkeeper is responsible for managing a clients financial records using QuickBooks Online and similar accounting software. M-F 8am-5pm CST.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry: Record financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Invoicing: Create and send invoices to clients and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize expenses to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Tax Preparation: Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, accountants, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and updates.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online: Strong knowledge of QBO and its features.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  • Analytical Skills: Capability to analyze financial data and generate meaningful reports.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
