Senior Medical Education Account Executive

About the Role
 

You'll Identify opportunities within Medical Schools, Physician Assistant Programs, Nurse Practitioner Programs, and school of health professions. You'll partner with accounts calling on decision makers to create a value proposition for Medical Education solutions. Your primary efforts will generate new sales and closing of new contracts. Additionally assisting our Account Management team on upselling solutions to existing customers, and renewals.
 

Responsibilities
 

  • Identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities within Medical Schools and other schools of health professions.
  • Driving business growth of the Medical Education product portfolio.
  • Creating, updating and utilizing a territory business plan to identify key new business prospects.
  • Establishing credibility and building relationships with department heads, key decision makers, and influencers at Medical and Health professional schools. (Including Deans, Associate Deans, and other C-suite executives.)
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified opportunities, and effectively move them through the selling process via Salesforce CRM.
  • Developing accurate forecasts of new business opportunities and renewals while establishing intelligence. (Learning about our competitor’s products, strategy, and sales approach in the marketplace.)
  • Establishing relationships and collaborating internally with key internal stakeholders, including peers, Sales Operations, Product Management, and Marketing personnel.


Requirements
 

  • Able to display proven success in educational technology sales, medical schools, Nursing schools, or other schools of health professionals.
  • Experience with “Consultative Selling” to identify and solve customer problems, selling technology solutions in a B2B complex environment.
  • Able to accurately forecast new business opportunities and renewals.
  • Experience selling technology solutions in a complex higher education environment, with multiple decision makers.
  • Able to effectively influence various non-reporting functions in a matrixed business structure.
  • Demonstrate a bold work ethic and sense of urgency.
  • Able to travel as necessary, estimated to be 10-20% and overnight as needed.
