As a Super Operations Manager in our Residential Collection Team, you’ll play vital role in guiding our collection specialists whilst working closely with customers to resolve their debt issues. You’ll oversee a proportion of our debt portfolio, ensuring accounts are managed effectively until they are fully resolved. Your guidance will be key in developing innovative strategies to engage customers and identify sustainable, affordable solutions that prevent future debt. 

There are two secondment opportunities available, one 12 month fixed term contract and one 6 month fixed term contract. Your application will be considered for both positions.

  • Guide multiple teams of collections specialists, driving the performance of various debt cohorts. 

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your team, ensuring they have the right support and handling complex escalations. 

  • Support and develop your team, empowering them to excel and develop. 

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by effectively managing your unique and diverse customer base. 

  • Encourage your team to take ownership of collections processes, financial decision-making, and the implementation of new ideas. 

  • Collaborate with the technology team to identify opportunities for improvement and refine future system enhancements.

It would be great if you had: 

  • Proven experience in guiding and coaching at a middle manager level. 

  • Background in a debt or finance environment. 

  • Ability to navigate complex situations and empathize with customers facing affordability issues. 

  • Strong multitasking skills to manage internal and external obstacles while keeping your team motivated.
