Our client is an innovative company that uses Artificial Intelligence and remote sensing to extract precise geolocated data worldwide, and they are looking for a GIS Business Developer with Portuguese, to work on the Brazilian market.

🌍 Location: Madrid or Barcelona.

As a GIS Business Developer, you will be responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with key clients in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for the renewable energy sector. Your main objective will be to maximize customer satisfaction, foster loyalty, and ensure the growth of assigned accounts by providing innovative and tailored solutions that drive the success of our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Key Account Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all client needs and inquiries.
  • Identify growth opportunities within assigned accounts and develop strategies to expand them.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and explore new business opportunities, primarily in the Brazilian market.
    • Prospect for potential new clients.
    • Collaborate with other departments to develop effective value propositions aligned with client needs.
    • Participate in the preparation and presentation of commercial proposals.
  • Technical Consulting:
    • Provide clients with GIS solutions advice.
    • Stay up-to-date on GIS trends and developments to offer valuable insights to clients.
  • Analysis and Reporting:
    • Perform periodic account analyses to identify risks and opportunities.
    • Prepare regular reports on account performance.
  • REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Languages: Native Portuguese and intermediate-advanced English (written and spoken). Spanish is a plus.
    • 3-4 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development in the renewable energy sector (photovoltaic plants, wind farms).
    • Knowledge of GIS technologies and applications.
    • Experience using tools like Asana and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
